Directions

Step 1: Massage and saturate the filter in the cleaning solution. Squeeze out excess (do not twist the filter) Repeat this step for heavy soils.

Step 2:Rinse the filter out in water thoroughly and leave to dry.

Step 3: Leave to dry. Once dry you are ready to reapply filter oil and reinstall on your machine.

Caution: Do not put water rinsed filters back into cleaning solution.

FAQ

Q: Do I use the whole litre to clean 1 filter?
A: We recommend pouring the whole litre of F3 into a sealable plastic pail and reusing the solution multiple times before replacing.

Q: After I cleaned my first filter the F3 looked dirty. is it safe to clean another filter in it?
A: YES! F3 will look dirty but it does not matter. When you dunk your filter in F3 it is simply dissolving the filter oil and getting out most of the dirt. When you go rinse your filter in water the F3 left in the filter turns to soap and washes out all dirt and debris left behind.

Q: What containers can I use F3 in to clean my foam filter?
A: We recommend a strong sturdy plastic. The quality of plastics vary. Do not clean in cheap plastics.

Q: Should I wear gloves when cleaning with F3?
A: Like with any cleaners we recommend wearing gloves, as skin sensitivities vary.

Q: Can I wash my air filter with soap after cleaning with F3?
A: Unlike almost every other filter cleaner you dont need to wash your filter with soap after using F3. F3 has a self activating soap when rinsing in water so you no longer have to bother with that additional step!

Q: Can I dilute F3 with water to clean more?
A: NO! F3 is designed to be rinsed with water not diluted, the product will not clean effectively if diluted with water because it will convert it to soap. Simply pour your F3 into a reusable container and follow the directions for a fast effective clean.

Q: How many filters can I clean with F3?
A: Testing shows that you could clean at least 10 filters effectively with 1qt / 946ml of F3 before replacing with new F3.
