Nobody likes a creaky bottom bracket and sometimes variances in the manufacturing tolerances of modern press-fit systems can cause movement under pedaling loads and create the dreaded creak. This retaining compound from Park Tool fills in those tiny gaps and holds your BB securely in place, banishing the creaks and restoring your sanity! Park RC-1 is perfect for any press fit bottom brackets.

Important Note: Ensure you apply the AP-1 Primer before using the RC-1 retaining compound on any carbon surfaces. Failure to do this may result in the parts becoming permanently bonded.
